I am so damn hyped to share today’s episode of the WELL-rounded podcast with Michelle Cady. If you’ve got a case of the Mondays or are feeling overwhelmed by stress and to-do lists this episode is for you.
Michelle is a former finance executive turned wellness author and health coach. She teaches high achieving women around the world to reach even greater levels of success through the incorporation of wellness practices into their daily lives.
I edited this episode on the plane ride home from Los Angeles last week. The timing could not have been more perfect. I felt anxious about returning from vacation and returning to school. It was the [gentle] reminder I needed to chill the f*ck out and relax.
SOME OF THE THINGS WE TALK ABOUT:
- transitioning from a high power career in finance to health coaching.
- how her pants breaking on a long run changed her life (really)
- reckoning with your identity
- batching your days to optimize your schedule
- setting boundaries when you’re self-employed
- what is adrenal fatigue and Michelle’s experience with adrenal fatigue
- importance of breath work <— as a yoga teacher and former singer I LOVED chatting about this!
- the real reason you can’t do it all
- advice for new health coaches and personal trainers (and really anyone hoping to make the leap to self-employment
- the book every introvert needs to read
- + lots more!
Side note: Michelle literally did buy me the book we talked about. She is literally the nicest human EVER. and I’m excited to dive in and better understand my life as an introvert
