when you have lots of quinoa
and its too hot for oatmeal
and overnight oats are not already in the fridge
what’s a gal to do for a hearty, cool and refreshing breakfast?
The answer: Quinoa for breakfast
it doesn’t get much easier than this.
- 1/2 cup of already cooked and chilled quinoa
- 1/2 cup of vanilla almond milk (or a milk of choice)
- 1/2 a banana
- a spoonful of peanut butter
- a small drizzle of honey
- and a handful of peanut butter puffins
Mix it all together and you get quinoa for breakfast, a quick and easier answer to “what am I gonna eat for breakfast?”
