oh man this Monday has been full of way too much excitement for me.
- Green Day, my absolute favorite band, announced their North American tour for this winter. Brooklyn in January, can’t wait!!!!
- This morning I had a great job interview. There are still a lot of logistics to figure out and lots of thinking to do, but it is a super exciting opportunity if it works out.
- my new macbook arrived! I am currently in the process of attempting to transfer things from my old mac to the shiny new one. My baby has had a long, fulfilling life, media designing far too many shows and making it through college. Blackie the Mackie, it is time for you to retire.
It was sad saying goodbye to NYC today after a great few days there. Everyone was talking about how today felt like fall because the air was cool and crisp. Usually I despise Fall because it means that summer is over, camp is over, and it’s back to “real life” after a summer of play. This year though is different– in 10 days I get to begin a new adventure. The cool and crisp weather was also the perfect conditions for a 3.5 mile evening run once I was home from the city. I’m happy I still have maintained some of my running endurance after all the training I did for the 5k in August.

3. Chef Katelyn Maybe it’s because I’m a youngin’ and got hooked on Katelyn’s blog while I was still in college, but I love reading about how she combines healthy living and college life.
4. Fit Foodie Finds I love Lee’s recipes and obsession with all things oats.
