You know you’ve lived in California too long when 56 degrees feels freezing……
probably not the most legal thing I’ve ever done driving, but the sunset looked like the apocalypse. Way to be pretty Los Angeles, but that still doesn’t make up for your insane amounts of traffic
Also can someone explain to me why nobody walks in Los Angeles. The weather is freaken perfect walking weather— why do the citizens of Los Angeles utilize this amazingness?
Sadly Runyon Cannon was a bit too crowded this morning to find parking, so I decided to set out to the streets of Los Angeles with a chai in hand and listening to a Jillian Michaels podcast.
it was honestly the most lovely way to spend a sunday morning. Los Angeles, walking is an amazing thing. Take a hint from your east coast sister, New York
Part of me is not looking forward to walking around Manhattan in the freezing cold winter, but even so I am oh so ready to head back to New York and start the next chapter. I realized I haven’t lived in my apartment in 6 months, say what? I miss that itty bitty place so much and can’t wait to be home again.
Speaking of my apartment, I am ridiculously excited to redecorate. Like so excited I couldn’t fall asleep last night because my brain was racing with awesome ideas. Although I moved into my NYC home over 2 years ago it is still a work in progress. I have the essential furniture pieces but there are many projects that have been left undone. My mother might have received an email this morning with a million links to furniture pieces from CB2. My favorite is arguably this chartreuse filing cabinet.
hmmm this might be necessary for my bedroom, no?
Perhaps its because I’m been away from the craziness and creativeness of theater school for too long, but the thought of redecorating got me crazy excited. I have a million ideas of what to do and how to organize my apartment for better functionality. Here’s to hoping I can put those ideas into play.
With my time winding down here, I’m trying to suck it all in and enjoy every last bit of LA living. This means going to my favorite cute sandwich shop almost every day this week and finally seeing Cirque du Soleil’s Iris which has permanent residence on Hollywood Boulevard. Here’s to my final full days here!
Any tips for where to get ideas for redecorating my apartment?
Any tips for making use of a teeny tiny kitchen? One of the reasons I avoided cooking for so long is because my apartments kitchen is smaller than a closet. I need to find a better way to utilize the small space that I got.
