My brief time home in Westchester for Thanksgiving was pretty amazing and filled with family, friends and trotting. My family always celebrate Thanksgiving with my dad’s side which is rather large– there’s 10 grand children plus all my aunts, uncles, cousin’s significant others and my incredible grandparents. That’s a whole lot of people to eat dinner with! It’s pretty rare that we can get all of us under one roof together so it was special to have everyone in attendance at my grandma and papa’s house. We even lit a menorah and played dreidel in honor of Thanksgivukkah.
The highlight of my Westchester visit might’ve been sleeping from 12:30pm until 11:30am Friday. Uh wow, guess I needed some extra zzzz’s? Only half kidding about it being my favorite part of the vacation…
Friday the boy and I saw Frozen in theaters. He was equally as excited as I was to see the latest Disney musical movie, and it did not disappoint. The music definitely rivals the Disney classics of my childhood! Soon after the movie it was time for me to head back to the city since I had to work an early morning shift Saturday, womp womp.
After a rather lazy past few days with zero exercise I’m excited to revisit some old favorite studios this week and try out a new-to-me studio.

In college the end of winter semester always seemed to fly by after Thanksgiving. I have a feeling that’s going to be the case this year as I gear up for the last round of exams and basically sprint to the finish line of this semester. Before I know it it will be the end of December and I’ll be on winter break!!! Just gotta keep on pushing through ’til the end now…
