‘Tis the season to reminisce about the past year, eh? At the end of the year I like to go through every blog post I wrote during the previous year. I’m really hard on myself sometimes, and wish I had the time and sometimes energy to write more frequently than I do. Going through a years worth of blog posts I wrote far more often than I give myself credit for… and it’s amazing how many posts I totally forgot about.
One of my big goals for 2016 is going to be treating this here blog more like a business. At work I’m super organized about tracking KPI’s (key performance indicators) week over week and stalk our google analytics like a hawk to see where customers are coming from, what’s working, what’s not working.
While I look at my blog google analytics every day, multiple times a day (it’s like a sick addition), I definitely don’t take the time to sit there and analyze what’s working and what’s not the way I do with work.
