Has anyone else had a seriously crazy week?! If you’ve been following along on instagram, I’ve talked a bit about my hot mess of a week. I’m blaming everything on the fact that mercury was in retrograde. I don’t even know if I believe in that kind of stuff, but it’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
It all started with an ankle injury last Friday at trapeze. I whacked my ankle against the trapeze bar really hard. It was like hitting my funny bone… but worse. So bad that I couldn’t walk and had to get an X-Ray because Urgent Care thought it was broken. Nope, just a nasty bruise.
Then my cable box crapped out on me for no reason…
Then I had a seriously crazy week of homework for school..
And then my air conditioner crapped out on me too…
Maybe it will get fixed with the assistance of an HVAC repair company (like FSI Oil and Propane), but what about other problems?
Is this some kind of sick, cruel, joke, universe?
ANYWAYS! I can walk again and I’m on to better things– FRIDAY and THE WEEKEND. I read a few articles this past week that I absolutely loved and thought I’d bring back an old tradition — 5 Things Friday.

Something Wellness: Making friends after college is HARD. Most of my post-college new friends are people I met at work or thanks to blogging/instagram. Weird, right? I’m seriously obsessed with Georgie’s honest and helpful post about making new friends after college.
Something Productivity: Ashley’s post about prioritizing life really resonated with me. It’s why I’ve been saying no to more and more events lately in favor of getting work done.
Something Foodie: Well + Good rounded up 10 of the best vegan cookbooks. I’m not vegan, but I prefer cooking vegan. I’m still a bit squeamish about raw meat…
Something Broadway: Epic, epic interview in GQ by Hamilton creator Lin Manuel Miranda, AKA my favorite human being ever. As sad as I am to see him leave Hamilton, I’m sure some time away from the show will give him the space he needs to create his next project.
