I’ve been craving some routine in my workout regiment. While I love hitting up different classes each week on Fitreserve, I’ve missed the consistency that comes with sticking to one gym or studio. Lately I’ve also only been going to studios in my ‘hood these days which limits my options.
When Barre3 reached out to me and invited me to partake in their 4-week challenge, which starts January 9th, I couldn’t say YES fast enough.
The guided challenge B3 ALL IN encourages you to take five Barre3 classes a week (woof!) and follow a guided meal plan while also doing journalling exercises to build a mind-body connection.
I know there are tons of options out there as far as January challenges go, but I’m especially excited for this one and proud to promote it for a number of reasons.
Why I’m stoked for the B3 ALL IN challenge
It looks at wellness holistically.
I love love love love love that this program combines exercise, healthy eating AND mindfulness, something I don’t see in many other challenges.
Not only is a holistic approach my jam, but I also think it’s a more effective approach to wellness. Working out is about SO much more than looking good, but also feeling good both inside and out.
I could use some cooking inspiration.
Cooking is not my strongest suit. You probably all know that by now 🙂 I’m super excited to be part of a program that will encourage me to try some new recipes and get a bit more confident in the kitchen.
The workout is NO joke.
I went to a class at the West Village studio few weekends ago and joked with Jeremy that I probably wouldn’t need a shower afterwards because it’s just a barre class. Uhhhh, I left that class DRIPPING with sweat.
The work out is harder than any other barre workout I’ve tried in NYC (and I’m pretty sure I’ve tried them all!) but I’ll also argue it’s ALSO the most fun. Any instructor I’ve taken has been light-hearted and far from a drill sergeant. I personally love that there’s a dance-y aspect of the class. Bringing my back to my dancer roots!
You can do it on the go.
There’s a pretty big chance I’ll be traveling at the end of January. I’m craving warm weather so an LA trip is hopefully on the horizon 🙂
Because Barre3 has both in-person and online streaming workouts, I know I can keep up with the workouts whether I’m in New York, LA or wherever else this month takes me.
How to join in the fun
Check out the Barre3 website more information on the challenge + sign ups for both in studio online classes. Participation in the program includes an awesome handbook chock-full of healthy recipes and mindful tips PLUS access to the online community for the challenge.
If you’re in NYC and planning on participating let me know! Would love to meet up and take a class together 🙂
This post was sponsored by Barre3 as part of an ongoing partnership with them. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Kayla in the City.
