I don’t have anything new and fun to share with ya on the favorites front today (it’s been a boring, doctor filled week over here!). BUT I thought I’d switch things up and share some podcasts, blogs and instagram accounts I’ve been loving lately.
Enjoy and let me know any of your favorites below in the comments
▶︎ PODCASTS I’m loving…
The Skinny Confidential Him & Her.
I’ve heard SO many people say good things about this podcast. But I honestly didn’t think it would be my jam.
I started listening a week or so ago. Oh my god, I love it. The podcast is hosted by Lauryn, creator of the Skinny Confidential and her husband Michael. While it’s mainly focused on wellness and entrepreneurship, they talk about a little bit of everything in the episodes I’ve listened to. One of the things I like is that it’s broken up into different segments and isn’t just an interview.
I’ve only listened to a handful of episodes now but highly recommend checking out episode #102.
The Self Soul Sport Podcast.
Maybe I’m a bit biased because I know and adore Shanna Tyler, creator of Self Soul Sport, but I am loving her new podcast. She covers a ton of topics under the branch of wellness including mental health, loving your job and self-care.
Episodes are a mixture of interviews as a well as shorter, solo, episodes. My favorite so far has been episode 2 with photographer Diana Davis.
Also be sure to listen to Shanna’s episode on my own podcast. Like I said, I freaking adore her.
Brand Yourself
Blair Badenhop is a branding expert that specializes in working with health coaches. While I’m not a health coach I still find her discussions with various leaders in the wellness industry to be super helpful and insightful.
She’s also not afraid to ask DEEP questions about how these people run their business. My favorite episode so far has been #8 with insanely successful health coach Robyn Youkilis.
▶︎ Blogs I’m loving…
Lee From America
I love the honesty and depth in Lee’s posts. I know she’s been around the food blogging / instagram world for awhile now but I stumbled upon her blog when someone linked to her CBD post. It was a refreshing, honest, account of trying something out. I’m excited to dive more into the rabbit hole of her content and have been enjoying her recent posts. And I’m excited to check out some of the places she visited in Stockholm when I’m there in May 🙂
Advice From a 20-Something
Okay, I’ve been reading Amanda’s blog for eons now but it’s still one of my all time favorites. The blog is a bit less personal these days as she’s brought on contributors but I still find it to be raw and real about life in your 20’s. I especially love the business advice she dishes out and am personally inspired by the career she has created.
Check out her recent post on morning routine alternatives for people that hate waking up early (me).
Danielle Moss
Danielle co-founded mega blog The Every Girl. I’m honestly more of a fan of her personal blog than The Every Girl (not that I don’t love and appreciate it) because I’m more of a sucker for personal blogs in general.
EVERYONE needs to read her post on networking mistakes you should stop making.
▶︎ Instagram Accounts I’m loving…
Blink Beauty
Blink Beauty creates the fastest beauty tutorials. I generally don’t give a crap about make-up tutorials. I’m pretty useless when it comes to anything beauty. But something about these little bite-sized videos are SO addicting. I legit spent WAY too much time going through all their old videos.
The Wing
Need a healthy dose of kick-ass feminism? (Don’t we all?) Yeah, The Wing got you covered. The Wing is a co-working and community space for women. I haven’t been yet but I’ve heard nothing but great things about their space and the events they throw. And their instagram account is pretty amazing too. More girl power, please.
Kate Van Horn
I was first “introduced” to Kate when she was interviewed on a podcast I love. Since then I’ve been following her and I’m totally in AWE of all she’s created with The Good Fest. Fingers crossed I can attend one of her events in the future.

i thought i knew about every blog under the sun and clearly i was wrong!!! i can’t wait to read the ones you’ve suggested and check out those podcasts. the him & her is my FAVE these days because of the variety – love the mix of business and health tips, plus funny stuff and honestly just real life talk. i’m also loving the Healthy Maven podcast (That’s So Maven) because of her variety in guests too, the recent one about food waste featuring the founder of Imperfect Produce was my fave!
