Today’s episode was super fun to record because Theodora was my boss! Yup, yup, she was in charge of me when I was doing my internship for grad school around this time last year. She has been a somewhat mentor of mine for awhile now and I’ve been a long time fan of her blog. I feel fortunate that we’ve been able to connect, bond and collaborate over the years.
Theodora Blanchfield is a writer, run coach and fitness enthusiast (studying for NASM personal training certification) living in NYC.
She is the creator of the fitness and running blog Preppy Runner, which she started in 2009. After losing 50 pounds, she became addicted to fitness and running — and has now run 30+ half marathons and 7 marathons and loves coaching runners to learn about the life-changing powers of running. (She sort of likes running.) A mental health advocate, she also writes about her own struggles with depression, anxiety and grief after losing her mom. She’s also always in search of her next race.
