My real favorite part of the week: when it’s finally Thursday afternoon.
Random, I know.
But Thursday afternoon signifies that the craziness of my week is OVER. I’m done with school and teaching for the week. Take a peak at what Monday was like for me and you’ll kind of understand what I mean by craziness 😂
On to some other favorites:
Favorite Things // Vol. 11
▶︎ Saje Wellness. I was invited to visit the Saje store on the Upper West Side this week. It’s like a little zen beacon in the midst of this crazy city.
This week Saje released their home cleaning line. It features an assortment of cleaning products for your home.
I can’t believe I’ve never heard of Saje until more recently. They are arguably known for their essential oils but have an extensive list of high quality, all-natural products. I legit wanted to buy EVERYTHING in the store from bath salts to dish cleaner.
I’m thinking of writing a more extensive blog post on essential oils and ways to incorporate them into your life. But if you’re brand new to the world of oils the pocket farmacy from Saje is a great place to start. It includes an assortment of roll-on oils to help with headaches, belly aches and stress. So basically everything a New Yorker deals with in the course of one day.
The diffuser blend collections are also really great if you’re into diffusing (I got this gorgeous diffuser at the event and I’m OBSESSED).
For Chanukah I had gotten the Classic package of diffuser blends. And this week I got the Peaceful collection. While the classics are a great place to start the scents in the Peaceful collection are freaking DREAMY. I’ve been diffusing them all week while I do homework at my desk. And rubbing their “Stress Release” blend all over my neck in hopes that it helps me y’know stress less about homework.
I swear this isn’t sponsored or anything. I’m jazzed up about essential oils apparently. I’ve officially become that wellness blogger…

▶︎ SweatWELLth + Y7 event
Last week I attended at Y7 class with sweatWELLth. sweatWELLth is creates unique and innovative products to enhance and support workout experience. Products like a hydrating face mist, liquid chalk (I’m curious to try it out for trapeze!), anti-chafing spray, and “power shower” — a post workout cleansing spray.
I hadn’t taken a y7 class in SO long, good it felt GOOD to flow (full class review of y7 here!)

▶︎ all the broadway shows: Last week I saw Waitress (again) and the new Carousel revival on Broadway.
I’ve slowly become a Waitress superfan. I don’t know when it happened or how it happened but suddenly I’ve seen the show 6 times and I love it.
My mom and I went to go see the Carousel revival. I ADORE Josh Henry and Jessie Mueller and have always wanted to see a production of Carousel. It’s one of those musicals that I know every song from being in a musical theater program in college. I heard oh so many people sing Mr. Snow in performance classes.
I now remember why the show isn’t revived very often. The second act is a bit odd with a major ballet sequence and it’s not as easy to digest as some of Rodgers and Hammersteins’ other collaborations (South Pacific, King & I and Oklahoma come to mind). But I’m glad my mom and I got to see it and got to Josh Henry and Jessie Mueller.

▶︎ currently reading: Sociable by Rebecca Harrington. I tried to read You Are a Badass, and while I was enjoying it, I can’t get into non-fiction lately. I think at the end of the day my brain wants to relax and read a novel. Having worked in the start-up world I love books that slightly satirize the start-up world. Sociable definitely does that. It’s a fun, quick read about a young woman’s experience working at a new journalism start-up and navigating post-college life. So, the kind of book I love to read these days.
