I absolutely love podcasts. While I subscribe to a number of podcasts, there are a few that I will listen to *every* episode, no matter what. Even if the topic isn’t something I think I’d be interested in, I know I can find a nugget of inspiration or at the very least I’ll have fun listening.
Here are my current favorites:
The Podcasts I Listen to Every Week:
A Thing Or Two
I only recently started listening to this podcast from Claire Mazur and Erica Cerulo. I LOVE it. Every week Claire and Erica have what they call urgent discussions about non-urgent things. Sometimes the discussions are more high brow. Often times it’s pretty lowbrow like whether or not you wear shoes around your apartment. The real questions we all want to know during quarantine.
I personally love the back and forth banter and always find myself google searching for products and things they mention throughout the episode.

Bad On Paper
This podcast from Grace Atwood (blogger at The Stripe) and Becca Freeman is the perfect blend of things I love. They talk A LOT about the books they are currently reading — it’s where I get most of my reading recommendations. At the end of every month, they do a book club episode.
Even when the focus of an episode is not book related, I appreciate their discussions on career, being single in your 30’s and more.

Gal Pals
Apparently I really like female duo podcasts 😂
Every week Georgie Morley and Engrid Latina deep-dive into a topic together. The conversation feels like one of those really intense late-night heart-to-hearts you have with a friend on life, the future, and other things you’ve been thinking about.
Every week I know I’m going to have an “a-ha!” moment listening to this podcast. It’s so chockful of nuggets of info about navigating the world with a bit more mindfulness.

From Where She Sits
I personally know the hosts of FWSS. Christie and Izzy are 15 years apart and explore topics from their two generational standpoints. I’ve had a similar career trajectory to Izzy — we both went to theater school. I can deeply relate to how she talks about her own experience.
I think it’s one of the only podcasts where I’ve gone back to listen to EVERY episode because I had FOMO and didn’t want to miss out.
🎧
Let It Out
I’ve been listening to this podcast from Katie Daleabout for years. I listening somehow feels like drinking a cozy chai latte while catching up with a friend. Every week Katie has long-form conversations with all different kinds of creative, interesting, quirky, people. It’s the kind of podcast that I oftentimes have to pause while listening to quickly jot something down. Listening gives me so many ideas for blog posts and things I want to write or explore in the future.

Alright Mary
This one is for the Drag Race lovers.
I am fully obsessed with Johnny and Colin’s weekly discussion of the latest Drag Race episode. Beyond talking about the queens, the two also have some really intersting conversations about important queer issues mixed with a healthy dose of bad dad jokes.
🎧
Drag Her!
Oh yes, I listen to [at least] two Drag Race podcasts every week. This podcast brings on a lot of fun special guests to discuss the latest episode of Drag Race, and often times former contestants or judges come on to spill some behind the scenes tea.
