Today’s favorites are all apartment related! I wanted to share some random favorite apartment finds and things I’ve been loving in my new home. Who knew the right garbage can could bring you so much joy?
Random Apartment Favorites:
this dual compartment garbage and recycling can
I spent an embarrassing amount of time researching garbage cans. My old place I had pull out garbage under the sink, but that’s not the case in my new place. I knew I needed something relatively compact, but also liked the idea of having a place for recycling too. This one ended up being the winner and I’m pleasantly surprised how much I love it.
these Eucalyptus Sheets from Buffy
I’ve been using the same sheets for 10+ years now and I was LONG over due for some new ones. These Eucalyptus sheets from Buffy are so so so soft. I had been eying them for awhile as people always talk about how they are good for people that sleep hot. Hi, hello, that is me.
The material is a bit different than I’m used to, more soft than crisp, but now that I’ve been sleeping on them a few weeks, I’m in love. And am happy to say I haven’t woken up sweaty in the middle of the night once!
fun and colorful bath mats
I love this one with cute colorful stripes, and this one that says Get Naked. I mean… it is in front of the shower. It’s just telling the truth. Both added a nice pop of color to my bathroom and feel nice and cushy on my feet.
this sponge caddy
My old sponge holder used to fall off ALL the time. I swear this new one I got is magical and hasn’t moved once. It’s an odd thing to be excited about, but OMG it’s so nice to not be constantly trying to suction my little caddy back on the sink.
these plates and bowls from Our Place
I couldn’t be more obsessed with these plates and bowls I got from Our Place. The spice color is SO gorgeous, the plates stack, they’re dishwasher safe, and in my opinion they feel like perfect sizes. The bowl can hold my usual kale, chickpeas, and rice bowl lunch, side plate is perfect for snacks, and dinner plate is a good size without feeling massive. Wins all around.
these cute wire baskets
I use an embarrassing amount of notebooks on a daily basis:
- one is for yoga class plans
- another for barre class plans
- yet another to take notes whenever I’m on an important business call
- and then another for my daily to-do list
- and last, my daily planner. Because even though I’m a millennial, I still prefer a paper and pencil planner
Yup, a lot of notebooks. This little wire basket is such a cute way to store them on the shelf above my desk.
these boho woven baskets
Clearly I’m all about the basket life. I’ve been using these large woven baskets to store my workout equipment behind my couch. It’s a perfect way to keep them organize.
