I'm a yoga teacher. As a yoga teacher, people often times say a lot of funny things to me about yoga or the reasons they don't do yoga. I'm here today to bust some of those myths and set the record straight!

Me too! One of my yoga teachers used to say "Yoga is not about touching your toes, but what you learn on the way down"

You can't be "good" or "bad" at yoga -- it's not a sport or a skill, but a practice.

Yoga is SO boring!

Yoga can be slower paced. Many of us are used to things being so GO GO GO! If you find yoga boring, switch it up! Try another style or another instructor.
