Working out puts stress on your body

This stress leads to an increase in the production of cortisol 

Cortisol regulates your metabolism, sleep cycle, blood pressure, and more

This increase in cortisol can mess with your sleep cycle, anxiety levels, appetite, and more

Your body needs time to recharge

Not taking a rest day every week can lead to injury or burn out.

Your body also needs time to rest so it can repair the tiny tears in muscle fibers from working out

Take care of yourself. And give your body a chance to recharge
