Myth 1:  You have to be flexible

The Truth:

You don't have to be flexible to do yoga. Yoga is about mindfulness and connecting to your breath. Not touching your toes.

Myth 2:  Yoga is BORING!

The Truth:

Some yoga practices move slowly but if you're looking for something more energetic try a vinyasa yoga class which links together movements.

Myth 3:  Yoga is just about the physical practice

The Truth:

"Asana" or the physical practice of yoga you see in a yoga class is just one of the eight limbs of yoga. There's so much more to the practice than just the poses!
