Happy Halloween! Anyone have a good Halloween costume planned? As of right now all I got is a Rocky Horror t-shirt for my Halloween themed outfit. Well, I could also have opted for a costume like Janet and Brad from The Rocky Horror Picture Show outfit but this one is equally good. Turns out the boy is going to be here tonight since his classes for tomorrow got cancelled. If I would’ve known I TOTALLY would’ve forced him to dress up at Eric from the Little Mermaid so I could be Ariel. I already got the reddish hair and everything!
I’m not one of those people who love halloween, but I do love my 3 R’s of halloween: Roseanne halloween episodes, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. At the moment I’m watching Roseanne halloween episodes while rocking my Rocky Horror t-shirt. All I need now is some Reese’s and I’ll be a happy happy gal! Tonight the boy and I are probably just going to watch “Nightmare Before Christmas” and walk around the Village trying to catch a glimpse of the NYC halloween parade. On a typical day NYC is bizarre… so halloween just takes that to the next level!
I’m starting to get the hang of making slow cooker meals. I started off small and not very ambitious making simple vegan dishes so I wouldn’t be paranoid about food poisoning if the food was undercooked. Last night I got brave and made chicken for the first time.
Thanks Lee for the amazing sesame chicken recipe. I followed the recipe almost exactly and threw in some zucchini as well. The sauce was SO flavorful. I was able to assemble everything in less than 10 minutes in between class and running of to work out. Doesn’t get much easier.
Back to studying for me, gotta get some work into before the boy gets here tonight!
