Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Mine was relatively lazy since I wasn’t traveling anywhere and the boy was here, but I got lots of stuff done!
I came home from work yesterday afternoon beat and ended up lounging the day away while watching an America’s Next Top Model marathon. My initial plan was to start studying for my chemistry midterm on Friday… oops. I DID however finally leave my apartment approximately 8 hours laters for a much needed manicure and food shopping. Only in NYC is it absolutely acceptable to get a manicure and go food shopping after 8pm on a Saturday night.
I’m excited to try out new recipes this week- sweet potato lentil curry, and there’s currently chicken and black bean chili in the slow cooker (which smells AHmazing)
Today my lovely mother helped me tackle the mess that was my closet.

One of the reasons I fell in love with my apartment was the rather large closet by Manhattan standards with lots of storage. It’s been a few years since I moved in and my closet desperately needed to be reorganized. My mother was kind enough to offer her organizational and folding expertise today and now my closet is looking way better. I got a few more shoe racks so my sneakers didn’t end up in a pile on the floor, and a few additional storage containers with drawers for my tights, leggings and trapeze socks (yes, I own far too any pairs of silly socks for trapeze). While all of this was going on I also prepared my chicken chili in the slow cooker and did laundry. Woot woot for productivity!
I’m feeling ready to tackle this week now that my closet is organized, all my food shopping is done, and there’s not a pile of laundry that needs to be cleaned.
I never ended up posting my workout plan last week but I did successfully workout every day except rest day on Saturday. Win!
Here’s the plan for this week:
Monday: barre + 305 dance cardio
Tuesday: Uplift strength + TRAPEZE!
Wednesday: barre + cycling
Thursday: TBD
Friday: yoga
Saturday: rest
Sunday: Refine Method.
How were you productive this weekend?
