While working out is great for many reasons, there are a lot of common mistakes people make that can hold them back from reaching their goals. Here's what to avoid.
MISTAKE #1:
You're doing too much to soon! Starting with intense workouts or doing multiple workouts a day, or many days in a row
THE FIX:
Ease into your new routine and start with a manageable schedule rather than going overboard working out non-stop
MISTAKE #2:
You never take a rest day... or only once in awhile...
THE FIX:
Take at least one day rest day a week to give your body time to repair... or maybe even more if you're feeling extra sore or tired.
MISTAKE #3:
You're doing workouts you hate because you think it's the only way to reach your goals, or it's what's popular.
THE FIX:
Find a workout that YOU love to do. You'll be more likely to stick with it if it's something you enjoy.
