3 Things To Focus On in Half Splits

Half Splits or Ardha Hanumanasana is a deep hamstring stretch. It's also a preparatory pose for a deeper stretch like a front split. Here are some things to focus on in the pose

Tip #1:

With your right leg lengthened, kkeep your hip on your left side stacked over your knee. This will allow you to get a deeper stretch.

Tip #2:

Actively grip your right quad to lengthen your front leg. Even if your leg isn't totally straight this will help you start to gain flexibility and is a great hamstring stretch.

Tip #3:

Flex your front foot and pull your toes towards your face. This will deepen the stretch in your hamstring.
